1. Contest Organizer
‘’A selfie of your ClickAssure experience’’ contest is being held and organized by ClicAssure (called "ClicAssure" or "the Organizer"). |
2. Contest Period
The contest is held in Québec from May 1, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. (ET) until April 30, 2024, 11:59 p.m. (ET) hereinafter called "Contest Period".
3. Conditions of eligibility
To be eligible for the contest, a person must:
- Be a resident of the province of Québec;
- Be 18 years-of-age or older on or before May 1, 2023
- Have applied for an insurance quote on ClicAssure.com and have agreed to enter into a policy with one of our insurance partners since your photo will have to demonstrate how much you saved.
4. How to participate
To participate in the contest, a person must meet the eligibility requirements and other conditions set out in these rules.
Subject to the limitations contained in these regulations, there is only one way to participate during the Contest Period:
- By submitting a digital photo of yourself with your insured item in electronic format and by indicating the savings you made by shopping for your insurance needs with ClicAssure.
By submitting an online application on the ClicAssure website for a qualifying insurance product (automobile, home, business, motorcycle, snowmobile, ATV, boat, recreational vehicle), once you have accepted an offer from one of our insurance partners, you will receive a personalized e-mail containing an electronic form allowing you to send us a picture of yourself with your insured item, as well as the amount of savings that you will have benefited from.
Limit: One entry per eligible person, possibility of multiply by ten (10) the participation if the eligible person shares his picture on his Facebook page.

6. Special prize conditions
Prices are non-refundable, non-transferable, non-redeemable and non-assignable.
7. Draw
7.1. There will be a prize draw each month during the Contest Period from among all eligible entries received during the current month which begins from the 1st to the 31st day of the month. Each draw will be held on the first Tuesday of the month at 3:00 pm (ET) during the Contest Period, in front of a witness selected from among ClicAssure's employees at ClicAssure's head office.

7.2. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for each draw during the Contest Period. A participant may be declared a winner only once. If a participant is randomly selected more than once, the Contest Organizer will proceed with drawing another entrant until a winner is obtained under these rules and the prizes will be awarded the following way:
The randomly chosen person will be the winner of the prize described in section 5 - "Description of Prizes".
7.3. Awarding of prizes is limited to one prize per person.
7.4. The draw will be carried out as follows:
The draw will take place on the dates mentioned in section 7.1 before 4:00 p.m. (ET). in front of a witness selected from among ClicAssure employees. A coupon in each participant's name, who sent in his participation during the month preceding the date of the draw, will be deposited in a box dedicated to this contest. If the participant has also shared his photo on his Facebook page, ten (10) coupons in his name will be deposited in the box dedicated to the contest. Thereafter, a random draw will be carried out.
Before the next draw, the coupons in the box will be destroyed and will be replaced by those of the current month until the end of the Contest Period.
7.5. ClicAssure reserves the right to disqualify a person or to cancel a participation that does not comply with these rules.
8. Limitation of participations and exclusions
8.1. The number of entries per person is limited in accordance with the provisions of section 4 of this regulation.
8.2. Employees, agents, directors and representatives of ClicAssure, as well as all persons with whom they are domiciled, are excluded from the contest.
9. General Conditions
9.1. To be declared a winner, the randomly selected entrant must meet the following conditions:
- To be contacted by e-mail by the Organizer to be informed of the delivery methods of the prize within 5 working days of the draw. The selected entrant must be reached with a maximum of 2 attempts and will have 10 days to reply to the Contest Organizer following a second e-mail sent, if any, failing which he will lose his right to the prize;
- Confirm that he meets the eligibility requirements and other requirements of this Regulation;
- Respond correctly, unaided and within a limited time-frame, to a mathematical skill-testing question on the electronic form;
- Sign a declaration and waiver form that will be sent to him by the Organizer. This form must be returned to the Organizer by e-mail at [email protected] within [three] (3) business days of receipt with the mention "A selfie of your ClicAssure experience".
Failing to meet any of the above conditions or to accept his prize, the selected entrant will be disqualified and a new random draw will be conducted in accordance with these rules until an eligible entrant is selected and declared a winner. If no entrant is declared a winner within thirty (30) days of the original draw, the Organizer shall have the right to cancel the prize.
9.2. Entries are subject to auditing by the Contest Organizer. Any entry or attempt to participate that is fraudulent, illegible, incomplete, delayed or otherwise not in accordance with the regulations will be disallowed and will not entitle the entrant to entry or a prize. The contest sponsor's decision with respect to any aspect of this contest, including but not limited to the eligibility or disqualification of the entries, will be final and without appeal, subject to a decision by the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec regarding a matter within its jurisdiction.
9.3. The Contest Organizer reserves the right to disqualify a person or to cancel one or more entries of a person if he/she enrolls or attempts to enter this contest using any means contrary to these regulations or who is unfair to other participants. This person could be entrusted to the competent judicial authorities, if necessary. The decision of the Contest Organizer to this effect is final and without appeal.
9.4. Acceptance of prize. The prize must be accepted as described in these regulations, and in no case, may it be transferred in whole or in part to another person, subject to what is otherwise provided for.
9.5. Terms and Conditions. Once the Organizer receives the declaration and disclaimer form signed by the winner, the Organizer will send the $250 check to the winner by Canada Post within 5-8 weeks.
9.6. Limit of Liability - Use of Prize. The prize winner disclaims any and all liability from the Contest Organizer, its advertising and promotional agencies, employees, agents and representatives from any damages, losses or damages suffered because of the acceptance or use of his price. Each selected entrant acknowledges that as soon as he is informed of the delivery terms and conditions of his prize, the performance of the prize obligations becomes the sole and exclusive responsibility of the various suppliers of products and services.
9.7. Limitation of Liability - Operation. The Contest Organizer, its advertising and promotional agencies, its employees, agents and representatives shall not be liable for any malfunction of any computer component, software or line of communication in connection with the loss or lack of network communication or any incomplete, incomplete, incomprehensible or erased transmission by any computer or network that may limit the ability of a person to participate in or hinder the contest.
9.8. Limit of liability - participation. The Contest Organizer, its advertising and promotional agencies, its employees, agents and representatives shall not be liable for any damage or loss that may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, by the downloading of any Website or any software and by the transmission of any information to participate in this contest.
9.9. Modification of the contest. The Contest Organizer reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend, in whole or in part, this contest when there is an event or human intervention that may corrupt or affect the administration, security, impartiality or conduct of the contest as provided for in these contest regulations, subject to the authorization of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec, if required. In all cases, the Contest Organizer, its subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, suppliers of products or services related to this contest, and its employees, agents and representatives shall not be required to award more than a prize or to award one or more prices other than in accordance with this regulation.
9.10. Notice to Participants - Out-of-Canada Data Communication. For use of the online entry form, ClicAssure may do business with one or more web services provider (s) based outside Canada. ClicAssure advises any entrant that the data, information and documents he or she may provide to ClicAssure in support of such forms may be housed outside Canada and may be governed by the laws applicable to foreign countries or states. In addition, the terms of use on privacy, enacted by the suppliers with which ClicAssure will do business, will then apply to the use of such forms. By completing such forms, the participant accepts such a situation.
9.11. Authorization. Each participant authorizes the Contest Organizer and its representatives to use his or her name, photograph, image, voice, contact information, place of residence or a prize declaration for advertising purposes, without any form of remuneration.
9.12. For the purposes of these contest regulations, an eligible entrant is recognized as the person identified on the entry and the prize will be awarded to that person if selected and declared a winner.
9.13. Prize Limit. In all cases, the Organizer shall not be required to award more prizes or to award any prize other than in accordance with these rules.
9.14. Limit of liability. The Contest Organizer, its advertising and promotional agencies, its subsidiaries, its employees, agents and representatives from any and all damages that may be incurred because of participation or attempted participation in this contest.
9.15. Text of Regulation. The contest rules are available at the Contest Organizer's office located at 625 rue Jacques-Parizeau, Québec(QC), G1R2G5
9.16. Disputes Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.

9.17. In the event of any discrepancy between the French and the English version of this Agreement, the French version shall prevail.
